It is the inaugural season of Ted Lasso and the first time we see Jason Sudeikis and his many sneakers along with co-stars. We start out with our mustachioed optimistic friend Ted Lasso on a plane ride from Kansas City over the pond to coach a “football” team for this first time in his life. We get to know the well hearted, charming Ted Lasso along with the vengeful Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham) who hired Ted to destroy AFC Richmond’s chances of winning and to destroy her cheating ex-husband. Welton was moved by Ted’s boyish innocence, determination, and outrageous tea biscuits.

We soon meet a whole slew of characters Nathan (Nick Mohammed) the kit man, Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster) a star player, Tartt’s girlfriend Keeley (Juno Temple),  Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) the seasoned football veteran, and coach Beard (Brendan Hunt).
