Nike Daybreak ‘Red Racer Blue’ Sneakers Worn by Ted Lasso in Ted Lasso S03E01 “Smells Like Mean Spirit” (2023)

On Wednesday, March 15, we analyzed Ted Lasso. A shoe placement was spotted in the series premier: Nike Daybreak ‘Red Racer Blue’ sneakers of Jason Sudeikis in Ted Lasso S03E01 “Smells Like Mean Spirit” (2023).

The Shoe: Nike Daybreak ‘Red Racer Blue’

Our first scene of AFC Richmond on the pitch, we find Ted Lasso wearing a familiar shoe from last year, the Nike Daybreak ‘Red Racer Blue’. Last year, we spotted the same Nike in the opening episode, “Goodbye Earl”. 

Ted Lasso in this scene with the first practice of the year is looking for a great way to motivate the team. Unfortunately, the team seems to be just going through the motions and time to move practice ‘outside’. While chatting with Roy Kent, Coach Beard and kit boy Will they get the team bus called over. AFC Richmond team then loads up, cutting practice short, to go on a field trip off the pitch to gain motivation.
