On Wednesday, March 15, we analyzed Ted Lasso. A shoe placement was spotted in the series premier: Nike Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Mocha’ sneakers of Jason Sudeikis in Ted Lasso S03E01 “Smells Like Mean Spirit” (2023). 
The Shoe: Nike Jordan 1 Low Mocha
In the opening scene while Ted Lasso is sitting with his son nearly missing his son’s flight home, we see Jason Sudeikis sporting the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Mocha’ sneaker. This long awaited episode shows up immediately with Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso bring the heat in these Jordan Mochas.
We see Ted Lasso sitting in London’s Heathrow next to his son, Henry (new actor this year) as he plays his Nintendo Switch. Over the airport’s PA system, we see Ted Lasso completely dazed and depressed as his son gets ready to board his flight back home to Kansas City. We are treated immediately with Ted’s friendly banter as he prepares his son’s flight with the gate agent. As he hugs his son goodbye, we flash over to Ted speaking with Sharon Fieldstone, the teams old therapist, who has moved on to another team. This is a great episode to ease back into the world of Ted Lasso and a great first pair of shoes to open up.
The Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Mocha’ adds refreshed details to a low-profile silhouette modeled after the 1985 original. The upper combines a white leather base with brown suede overlays and a black nylon tongue, the latter accented with a pink embroidered Jumpman. The same pastel hue is applied to the collar lining, featuring soft quilted textile for a cozy fit. A reflective heel tab offers improved visibility in low-light conditions. The low-top is mounted on a standard rubber cupsole, enhanced with an Air-sole unit encapsulated in a lightweight foam wedge.
