The Shoes: Eric Koston Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Powder Blue’
We see Ted Lasso wearing the Nike Air Jordans 1 Low shoe, a favorite of Jason Sudeikis. The Eric Koston x Air Jordan 1 Low SB ‘Powder Blue’ represents a silhouette that Koston missed out on as a kid. But he was able to help design and eventually wear as a sponsored Nike SB athlete. The low-cut shoe was first seen on the foot of Koston and released in August 2019. It has a white-based leather upper with Dark Powder Blue detailing, Nike Swoosh and overlays. Finishing the style is the classic Wings logo on the heel, and Koston’s signature on the inside tongue label.
The Episode: The Diamond Dogs
We finally get to see Ted Lasso wearing his Air Jordans, get a bit unhinged and human. At last, in the aftermath of the Liverpool away game and all-night celebrations, everyone is nursing a hangover. Some, are also dealing with the consequences of their actions. Ted struggles to figure out how he feels after his one-night stand with Sassy, Rebecca kicks the hot waiter out of her bedroom and Nate sleeps inside the bus to ensure he doesn’t miss it.
Ted had a bit of a wild go this episode. He had a panic attack at the karaoke bar. He slept with Sassy. And, in the end Ted got divorced. This leads Ted to consult his “The Diamond Dogs” — his newly assembled group of confidants consisting of Nate, Coach Beard, and Higgins.
